Camping & Caravanning

Hatfield Water Park's caravan and camping site is grassy, naturally level and features well lit, tarmac roads. There are electrical hook-ups available.

The park has 75 camping and caravanning pitches available. These pitches are graded with 4 Ticks by the English Tourist Board. Their facilities include electrical hook-ups, showers and toilets with wheelchair access, a well-equipped playground and landscaped picnic areas.

They have a large enclosed toddlers and children's playground.

Hatfield Water Park is based on old sand and gravel workings yet no evidence of that industry remains around to spoil the scenery. The park is on a picturesque landscape that features a mixture of mature trees and shrubbery and an abundant and wide variety of wildlife.

There is a network of public paths and bridleways coming from the centre. You can walk or cycle along ancient green lanes and tracks as you explore the historic landscape that is around Hatfield. While you walk pay attention to the variety of plants and creatures that can been seen on open fields, under hedgerows, in dykes and along ditches, both airbourne or on water.

Wildlife and human activities have coexisted for centuries in this area and have interlaced to create a mosaic of natural and manmade features.
