Machrihanish Caravan & Camping Park is a small park that is perfect for your holiday. The site welcomes motor homes, caravans and tents. From the park you can see the famous links golf course as well as the glorious Atlantic, Islay and Jura.

The park has 3 miles of clear sands that are loved by surfers, canoeists, birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Wildlife you can see include wild goats, seals and otters. There is also a seabird observatory nearby. Birds that are known to be seen include Golden Eagles, Peregrines, Buzzards, Sparrowhawk and more.

The site features a small shop, a laundry, disabled facilities and free showers. There is also a camper's room that includes a microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer as well as local tourist information and a small library.

You may also hire a Wigwam for your stay. Bigwig, the larger of the two types the site has to offer, includes robust wooden sleeping platforms, skylights, an opening window and a lockable door. Bigwig has accommodation for up to 5 people which is perfect for families. There are soft foam mattresses.

The wigwam's central platform is easily dismantled which makes the interior very spacious for daytime use. It includes a microwave, kettle, crockery, and cutlery. There is also a small fridge. It also is fitted with a panel heater and electric lighting.

You can also rent Weewam, the smaller of the two wigwam types. It includes a raised timber sleeping platform, storage space, an opening window and a lockable door. It can easily fit 3 people.
