Anderby Creek is great place to go bird watching from the round and round hide which gives a panoramic view of the dunes, marshes and sea. You even have a chance of seeing seals, both grey and common, poking their heads out of the water. This special hide is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of swallows, martins and swifts during the peak migration times of May and September. Out towards the sea you can see gannets, skuas, great crested grebes and divers as they pass along the coat.
The town also features Anderby Creek Cloud Bar which is the world's first official cloud spotting area. The bar was opened in a ceremony that featured famous weatherman Paul Hudson. The Anderby Creek Cloud Bar features mirrors that you can adjust to the best angle for the perfect cloud view.

Another great attraction is the Alford Manor House which is the largest thatched manor house in the country. It was built in 1611 and now offers a tea room and gardens. Alford Manor House also hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
