Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park
Situated in a historic setting, Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park is a Grade 2 Star listed building that was once owned by Henry VII and which is listed in the Doomsday Book. The house still enjoys the peace of this lovely part of Dorset.
Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park's touring and camping areas are very attractively laid out. They have every modern convenience available on-site. All of their pitches have electric hook-up. Those who want extra luxury can take advantage of the site's fully-serviced pitches that have mains, drainage and water hook-ups.
They have recently extended and completely refurbished their toilet block to a very high standard. It features a new family bathroom, a disabled shower room, free showers, electric shaver points and hair driers. The toilet block has under floor heating throughout. They also have a newly refurbished laundrette and a washing-up area.
Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park has The Olde Cart Shed which serves everything from full English breakfast, lunches, Dorset clotted cream teas to evening meals. They also have a takeaway service. The Olde Cart Shed occasionally hosts live music events. It is not licensed but you can feel free to bring along your own bottle of wine.
They have plenty of recreation on offer at the site. They have a newly renovated and fully-heated swimming pool, a children's paddling pool, a full-sized and short tennis court, a large children's play area, a barbecue and activities area, a dog walk, an exercise paddock and a games room.
Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park is perfect for those who are not looking for bars or a noisy night life. The place has a special charm and magic all of its own. Regular customers that return year and year say that coming to Wilksworth Farm feels like coming home. Whether you come for you first visit or if you are a regular they know that you will have a good time at the site.
