Seadown Holiday Park

Nestled in a quiet Dorset Valley alongside the lovely River Char, Seadown Holiday Park is a family-run park that has direct access to the beach that is only 150 yards away. The park is within walking distance of the village of Charmouth. Seadown Holiday Park is friendly, comfortable and wonderfully maintained.

It doesn't matter whether you stay in one of the site's modern luxury holiday homes or if you bring your own touring caravan, tent or motor home, Seadown Holiday Park is ideally situated for exploring the many unspoilt charms that the coastline has to offer. The park is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The park has plenty of free hot water, sinks for washing-up, showers, toilet, hair dryers and a fully-equipped laundrette. They have an on-site shop that is open every day to sell essentials that you need on your holiday. Those that do not wish to do much travelling can just put their feet up and enjoy Seadown Holiday Park's peaceful surroundings. The park allows dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

The site has a children's play area as well as areas for tennis, badminton, skittles and table tennis.

They also have an open area that leads down to the river bank where there are many bench tables where you can enjoy a picnic or a barbeque.

Charmouth's West beach is great for walks and makes an ideal setting for children to play in. The Heritage Centre organises fossil walks along the beach

HIGHER POUND FARM COTTAGES

Higher Pound Farm Cottages are nestled within a secluded location set on a picturesque south facing hillside. They provide peace and tranquillity and afford stunning views down the valley to the sea at Charmouth. They have 6 delightful cottages and a cosy but spacious farmhouse. It makes a relaxing base to be used at any time of the year.

They have both 2 and 3 bedroom cottages for hire as well as the farmhouse which has 4 bedrooms.

All are fully equipped, are centrally heated and are available throughout the year.
