Tyn Llidiart Camping Site

On the edge of the Tywyn Trewan Common, midway between Bryngwran the A5 and Rhosneigr on the coast, is Tyn Llidiart Camping Site.

Tyn Llidiart Camping Site features electric hook-up points and level ground. The site includes toilets and showers as well as a freezer for the storage of food and freezing freezer packs all for free.

Pitches costs £12.00 per night which includes hook-up.

A 30 minute walk across the Common will take you to the beach. You could also get in your car and find several lovely beaches within 5 to 10 minutes.

Because of its distance from the roads, Tyn Llidiart Camping Site is especially safe for children. Pets are also welcome. Adjacent to the camping field there is a very good place for walking your dog. Dog Agility Training is available or use of the equipment at a small charge. Flyball training is also available next door.

Anglesey features 120 miles of coastline, clear and sandy beaches, rocky headlands, plenty of scenery, sports facilities and local cuisine to enjoy. It is often referred to as "Mon Mam Cymru�, the Mother of Wales. In Anglesey you can visit Castles built by Edward I, standing stones and Druid sites that date before Christ, and more.

? The Menai Suspension Bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1826 and was the first modern suspension bridge in the world.

? The Anglesey Coastal Path stretches for 125 miles and there are countless places to visit along the way.

? South Stack Lighthouse is situated on a glorious, bracing outpost of Anglesey and is a bird watchers delight.

? Plas Newydd Country House is a National Trust property on the shore of the Menai Strait. There is a military museum, an Australian arboretum and an exhibition of Rex Whistler paintings from the 1930s.

? Beaumaris Castle is regarded by many as the finest of all the great Edwardian castles in Wales. Although it was never completely finished it is still a masterpiece and is a Designated World Heritage Site.

? Lligwy Beach is just one of many award-winning beaches on Anglesey. Here there are regular sightings of seals and dolphins.

? Anglesey Model Village & Gardens featuring models of Anglesey's many landmarks. All built to one twelfth (1:12) scale with working garden railway set in beautifully landscaped gardens with water features. Tea Room, play and picnic areas with children's ride-on train.

? The Dingle Nature Reserve is in an ancient 25 acre wooded valley and is a hideaway carpeted with bluebells in the spring with various bridges and walkways to improve accessibility and picnic tables so you can really make the most of this almost mystical location.

? Foel Farm Park is situated in a beautiful beachside location with stunning views of Caernarfon Castle, the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. There are tractor & trailer and quad bike & mini-trailer rides, pony rides, chances to feed and meet the farm animals,

? Nearby attractions include Rhosneigr Golf Club, both freshwater and sea fishing, water sports, bowls and tennis, and horse riding. There is also dog training in both agility and flyball as well as several dog friendly beaches.
