Situated on the Mid Wales coast just 2½ miles north of Barmouth, Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park is a 5-Star family-run and maintained park. The site affords magnificent views of Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsula. It is only a few minutes' walk away from a wonderful sandy beach.

Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park features 30 pitches for tents and 70 touring pitches. There are both electrical and non-electrical pitches available. Touring pitches have electric, water and waste. The majority of touring pitches are hard standing. The site has created new pitches that have excellent mountain and sea views in a clean and spacious area. Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park also caters for large tourers, motor home and American RV's.

The site's basic camping areas are on the front field and have unrestricted views of the sea. The biggest tent they allow is 7m X 7m. There are electrical hook-ups available on the front field and also in the back field. The back field has both sea views and an impressive back drop of gently sloping mountains.

Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park puts tourers and motor homes in the back fields. There they can enjoy sea and mountain views. The site only allows families and couples. Large groups and groups of singles are not allowed. You must book ahead of time for all pitches.

The new Reception area has an elegant water feature as well as an information stand. There is an on-site shop that has all the essentials. In addition it has gifts, toys, camping equipment and gas. There are ice blocks available for hire. The friendly staff is always happy to assist you. There is a telephone outside reception that is for emergencies only.

The laundrette is accessible by a sloping ramp. It has 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers as well as a shelf in the back. The far wall has an ironing board and a metered iron. There is also a metered socket that you can use for any of your portable appliances. Inside there is handy sink unit and many moveable seats so you can wait in comfort.

Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park's wash room area features an open floor plan and has many sinks and work surfaces. It overlooks the main camping fields through glass windows. Nearby is the chemical toilet disposal point with a tap inside.

There are newly built toilet blocks for both men and women. The toilet blocks are spacious and luxurious. They feature 3 normal shower cubicles and 3 family cubicles. They have 8 toilets. There are soap dispensers, hand dryers and bins. Both toilet blocks feature background music and under the floor heating for an enjoyable experience.

Each toilet block has a baby changing area and the entire area is cleaned daily to very high standards.

Trawsdir Touring Caravans & Camping Park features an enclosed children's play area that has a surround wall and a wide entrance. It's a favourite for children of all ages. Two tables and benches are inside so that you can watch your children play and have fun. The equipment is regularly inspected.
