Mayrose Farm is a small, informal site that welcomes campers, touring caravans and motor homes. Facilities include electric hook-ups, a chemical disposal point and a free swimming pool.
The camping area is located in a field that is near the swimming pool. There are showers and toilets nearby.
Mayrose Farm is a southwest facing site that features far-reaching views across the fields and Allen Valley.
They now feature a camping biome called the Glampod, which is a luxury, eco-friendly accommodation in a secluded environment. It is a canvas dwelling that provides warmth and protection against the weather during early spring and late autumn days. You can bask in its glorious warmth all summer. It provides a unique holiday experience, and it features its own garden, barbecue, woodburner, kitchen and fire pit.
Mayrose Farm offers cottages that are simply and stylishly decorated. Inside there is a mix of vintage and painted furniture, designer fabrics and comfortable seating.
The cottages have modern, well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms. The site provides quality bed linen, duvets and towels. Every cottage has its own private garden with a barbecue and garden furniture.
During the autumn and winter holidays, the cottages are centrally heated. Three of the cottages feature woodburning stoves for warm evenings indoors.
The farm is near the A39, which makes it a great base for visiting the attractions of Cornwall. Just 30 minutes away from the site, you can reach the Eden Project and Padstow. You can also visit the popular area of Rock and then spend a few hours in Padstow by crossing the ferry. The ferry takes you on a 10-minute, delightful journey across the estuary. You can see magnificent views while on the ferry.
The beautiful, wild areas of Bodmin Moor are just a 10 minute drive away. You can enjoy great walks where you will not encounter very many people but will see glorious views. If you take an evening stroll you can watch the sun set over the sea, while also seeing nearly all of Cornwall from Roughtor. Often times you can see the Isle of Lundy from this vantage point. Walking along the lanes is a real joy, as you can often see a variety of wild flowers.
