Torrent Walk Campsite

Torrent Walk Campsite features a large, sheltered and level field for camping that has all of the main buildings adjacent to it. Because the field is surrounded on all sides by farmland and woodland it offers peace and relaxation.

There are many places for walking around Dolgun Uchaf. One of the most famous walks is the Torrent Walk, which is an easy 500 metres away from the site. The area has become popular for mountain biking and the site is happy to offer secure storage for bicycles. There are drying facilities for bicycles if required.

The site features a new toilet block that has hair dryers, washing machines, drying facilities, a fridge and disabled facilities. They have power washers for cleaning your bike and equipment.

Torrent Walk Campsite caters to touring caravans, trailer tents, motor homes and tents. Most of the pitches have electric hook-ups.

Dolgellau is only 1 ½ miles from the site and offers a full range of shops. Within a 5 minute walk from the site there is also a shop and café.

Torrent Walk Campsite offers a bed and breakfast at their guest house as well as a range of self-catering accommodations. This includes their new bunk house accommodation.

The campsite is a great base from which to explore Snowdonia National Park. Visitors can enjoy many activities like hill walking, pony trekking, golfing and fishing. There is mountain biking at the world famous Coed-y-Brenin or at the lovely Mawddach Trail.

Nearby attractions include the historic market town of Dolgellau, Tal y Llyn Railway, Snowdonia Castles, might medieval castles and revealing industrial remains. From this background the area's rich culture and heritage has evolved and is still very much alive and thriving to this day.
