At the foot of the famous Cader Idris mountain, Cwmrhwyddfor Caravan and Camping Park is an attractive family farm that caters to campers and touring caravans. The farm is set amid beautiful mountains by a stream in the Snowdonia National Park. It is the perfect place for a happy family holiday.
Talyllyn Valley is known for its little railway that takes you past Dolgoch Falls and down to the beaches of Tywyn. Nearby activities include walking, rock climbing, fishing, sailing, pony trekking, swimming, tennis and golf.
Local attractions to be seen include slate mines, craft centres, museums, historic buildings, reservoirs, nature walks and a centre for alternative technology. The nearby towns and villages offer shopping opportunities for visitors.
The site features flush toilets, razor points, hot showers and washbasins with a hot water supply. The site has milk, eggs and more delivered daily. Mains electric hook-ups are available. Visitors can use local bus and railway services to get around.
The site is available all year for campers while touring caravans are only allowed from Easter until the end of October. There are seasonal pitches available.
