Nearer to the park is Carruan Farm activity centre, farm shop and café. There is a gate linking the site directly to Southwinds.

In the village of Polzeath, there is a well-stocked Spar shop where you can obtain all of your grocery needs. They also have a post office and a variety of cafes and restaurants.

In the heart of the village is the original Ann's Cottage Surf Shop where you can get all of your surf gear. They have the latest range of top brand surf and leisure wear, as well as wetsuit and surf board hire from as little as £3.

The park features a modern facilities block that includes free hot showers, laundry facilities, shaving points and hair dryers.
