Lochlands Leisure Park is centrally located in Angus providing an excellent base to explore Dundee, Angus & Aberdeenshire.
From February 14th to January 14th every year the park is open to caravans, motor homes and tents. Recently updated and improved, this park is considered to be spacious and quite quiet. There is a recently built toilet and shower block in the park that is in addition to the showers and toilets in the main building.
There are two main fields at the site, both of which are mostly level. One has a choice of level hardstanding pitches or grass pitches and has an adjoining play area for the children. In addition to these pitches there is storage space for approximately 70 caravans.

THINGS TO DO
There are several National Trust for Scotland properties nearby, one of which is Glamis Castle which was the childhood home of the late Queen Mother.
Set between two lochs, Forfar retains much of its traditional charm. There are many small shops selling specialities and local produce. One local speciality you cannot leave town without sampling is the famous Forfar รข??Bridie', a meat-filled pastry traditionally eaten by farm workers. A monthly farmers' market is held in the town centre throughout the year.
For an insight into the town's history, art and industry, visit the Meffan Gallery and Museum. Here you can wander through time in an old cobbled vennel, peer into a knockmaker's workshop and see linen being woven. The Meffan also tells the grim history of Forfar's place in the 17th century witchhunts. If horticulture is your passion, then you can't leave the area without a visit to Pitmuies Gardens, with its roses, herbaceous borders and woodland walks.
