Situated in the beautiful Green Belt area of Laleham Park adjoining the River Thames, Laleham Camping Club is a wonderful base for touring the area. The village of Laleham is only a 10 minute walk away from the site and the main town of Staines is only a couple of miles away. Laleham Camping Club is an ideal place to stay while visiting all of London's attractions as London is only 30 minutes away by train. The site is also just a short drive from Thorpe Park.
Laleham Camping Club is surrounded by parkland which is available for football, cricket and more. Immediately outside the campsite is the bank of the River Thames which is perfect for picnics and fishing. There are boats that can be hired locally and there are great towpath walks in either direction.
They welcome touring caravans, trailer tents, motor homes and tents to their site. The main building in the centre of the site has all of the usual amenities such as free use of hot water, showers, shaver points, hair dryer points and clothes iron points. There is also coin-operated laundry equipment available.
In the centre of the site there is an equipped children's play area with a sandpit. This play area is not supervised though and it is the accompanying adults' responsibility to ensure the child's safety when using this facility. The children's play area is considered closed at dusk.
The Laleham Camping Club is a "not for profitâ? organisation that is run by its members for its members and the general public.
They hold many social events throughout the season such as discos, volleyball competitions, games and many other functions. Every year they have a special children's weekend that is full of games and competitions. Guests are welcome to join in all or any these functions if they wish.
