Shamba Holidays appeals to country lovers and young families that are looking to explore the numerous attractions in the local area. Guests can enjoy fishing, golfing and horse riding nearby.

They offer touring and camping facilities on their 7 acre level site that is set in the lovely countryside. They have 150 large sized and well-drained pitches available that all include electric hook-up facilities.

Shamba Holidays facilities include a clubhouse with a licensed bar, large screen TV, a takeaway, a reception, a games room and an on-site shop. Other facilities include a 40ft indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, a toddlers' paddling pool and a children's play area.

They have a modern toilet and shower blocks that all guests of the park can use for free. It is also free to use the leisure amenities including the indoor and outdoor heated pool and the clubhouse. The site also features laundry facilities with washing machines, dryer and ironing facilities. These are coin operated. They also have a covered washing-up area, a chemical disposal point and a motor vehicle grey waste disposal point.

The park welcomes dogs on their park for a small extra fee. You must keep your dog on a lead at all times and you must exercise them off of the park. The park provides a large dog walking area for guests to use.

They are located in a great area for visiting all of the local attractions. Less than 3 miles away is the award-winning Moors Valley Country Park which features play areas, a model steam train, an adventure play trail, a tree-top walk, a golf course and a fishing lake.

You can reach Paultons Park in Ower in a 20 minutes' drive. This park is a theme park that caters to young families. It has a number of rides, wildlife gardens and museums. The park is excellent for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Another theme park nearby is Adventure Wonderland which was previously known as Alice in Wonderland. This spectacular theme park is aimed at families with young children from toddlers upwards. Adventure Wonderland features rides, a famous maze, play and adventure areas, shows and a huge indoor play centre.

You can visit the world renowned Marwell Zoo near Winchester. The zoo is great for those of all ages. Older children will enjoy Tower Park in Poole which has multiplex cinemas, bowling and a number of food outlets.

Another great attraction is the Oceanarium on Bournemouth's sea front. It is truly an underwater, around the world experience which makes for a great day out. Within a 30 minutes' drive from Shamba Holidays you can reach The Purbecks with lovely Studland Bay and Corfe Castle.
