Sumners Ponds Campsite & Fishery

Sumners Ponds Campsite is situated next to beautiful lakes which offer some of the best coarse fishing in Sussex. The campsite is set in beautiful, quiet West Sussex countryside just a 10 minutes' drive from the town of Horsham.

There is good cycling and walking on and around the farm, including the site's own woodland. There is plenty of room for your children to play. They offer great facilities for those who are backpacking, cycling or touring by car. Facilities include a shop, amenity block and spacious pitches.

For fisherman there are lakeside camping pitches available for the exclusive use of those who want to fish. All these pitches have views over the water and 11 premium pitches are available that feature exclusive swims. Sumners Ponds Campsite & Fishery has a total of 91 pitches. 88 have electric hook-ups. There are additional tent pitches during the summer time. Caravan pitches are gravelled with hedges planted on both sides.

The on-site shop sells hot and cold snacks, ice cream, drinks, bait, sundries and direct access to many acres of woodland walks on both footpaths and cycle ways.

Sumners Ponds Campsite has direct footpath access to Barns Green Village which features a pub and well-stocked post office and shop.

LOG CABINS FOR HIRE

There are two Norwegian Log Cabins in a lovely setting at side of lake with their own private fishing swim. Both cabins are fully equipped and furnished.

CAMPING PODS

There are Camping Pods available for hire, these are in a beautiful location. They have a covered decking area for cooking and seating.

DIRECTIONS: From the A272 turn north to Barns Green at Coolham crossroads (intersection of the B2139). After 1.5 miles take first left at small crossroads follow for half a mile and pass over railway crossing. Round the sharp right hand bend and turn left into Sumners Ponds. Follow track round and behind farm buildings.
