Le Vaugrat Campsite is surrounded with many reminders of Guernsey’s rich history. The campsite has had hundreds of returning visitors year after year who have enjoyed the site’s amenities and know they will have a comfortable and memorable holiday on the site.

Some outbuildings have been remodelled into a shop that has a takeaway food service area and coffer barn. There is also a TV room and 10 amp electric points available.

Le Vaugrat Campsite is well-drained, flat and contains all of the conveniences of home. They have toilets, showers, washing, drying and ironing facilities as well as plenty of safe space for children to play.

They have several fully-equipped tents that can sleep up 6 persons. You need a minimum of 2 people to hire a tent. Each tent is ready to be occupied but you need to bring your own bedding and towels. You can hire sleeping bags and pillows for an extra charge. You may only do this if you hire a tent.

The farmhouse is home to the Lainé family, who for many years have carefully and caringly managed their family camping business.

Just 5 minutes walk from the campsite are the safe and sandy bays of Port Grat and Grande Havre. A short drive away are the golf-course, horse riding stables and Leisure Centre.

• Children (under 14 years): £8.00 per person per night

• Adults: £25.00 per person per night

Miscellaneous Charges

• Electricity (10 amps): £6.00 per night

DIRECTIONS

From the Harbour, turn right at the roundabout heading north. After two miles (the Halfway), bear left before the filter in turn. Turn left at the traffic lights towards L'Islet, passing Oatlands Craft Centre on the right. Head straight at the traffic lights, through L'Islet to the coast. The campsite can be seen along the coast road from the Peninsular Hotel. Turn left into La Route de Vaugrat.
