Penmarlam Caravan and Camping Park
Located in Southern Cornwall, Penmarlam Caravan and Camping Park has wonderful views across the hills and valleys. It is situated high above the Fowey Estuary on the edge of Bodinnick village.
They have fully redeveloped the park. They constructed a new reception with a shop and off-license, a modern ladies toilet and shower block that includes baby changing facilities, disabled facilities, and they have added additional electric hook-up points. The site now has 6 fully serviced pitches that come with their own water and drainage points to hook-up in addition to an electric hook-up point.
Penmarlam Caravan and Camping Park is laid out in two distinct level areas. They have one area that is lawned and has tree screens that protect it from the elements. The other area is more open and features great views across miles of Cornish hills and vales.
Adjacent to the site entrance is the slipway to the Estuary. You can launch and store your boat or take a pontoon berth, depending on your needs. The park can arrange this for you upon your arrival. The park's guests may also use the quay and picnic area on foot. You can go fishing at the quay.
Nearby attractions include the Eden Project, which is 6 miles away, and the Lost Garden of Heligan, which is 15 miles away.
DIRECTIONS: From the east on the A38, in Dobwalls fork left at lights onto A390 towards St Austell. In East Taphouse turn left onto B3359 signposted Polperro, Looe. In 4 miles turn right at signpost Bodinnick, Fowey via Ferry. Penmarlam Park is clearly signed on the right 1 mile past the village of Lanteglos Highway at the entrance to Bodinnick.
