Auchnahillin Holiday Park

Set in a peaceful glen with lovely views of the surrounding forests, hills and heather moors, Auchnahillin Holiday Park is a friendly and informal family-run park. They are set on 10 acres of land in a convenient location only 8 miles south of Inverness. Within an easy drive of the site are several other popular destinations such as Aviemore, the Black Isle, Moray Coast and Spey Valley. The park is also on the number 7 cycle route.

Auchnahillin Holiday Park is in the heart of the Highlands and makes a convenient base for touring the region. The park is near many attractions and amenities and is ideally situated for many pursuits. Guests can also just take a relaxing break in the countryside close to nature.

You can reach the world-famous Loch Ness in half an hour's drive from the park. You can visit its atmospheric southern shore via the village of Dores with its shingle loch-side beach, or along its northern side with breathtaking viewpoints.

Within a 15 minute drive guests can easily access Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, which offers all of the benefits of a modern city including great facilities for shopping, eating out and entertainment. Guests can combine shopping with sightseeing and a relaxing stroll along the banks of the River Ness to Ness Islands. Whin Park has a miniature railway and a boating lake which makes it a great location to take the children.

TOURING AND CAMPING

Auchnahillin Holiday Park welcomes touring caravans, motor homes, campervans and tents to their site.

The park has facilities for up to 45 touring units and up to 30 tents. Auchnahillin Holiday Park is open from April until October every year but please check the dates at the beginning and end of season.

They have electric hook-ups available for low consumption or travel appliances. You cannot use electric heaters or other high usage appliances.

Facilities include an amenities block with indoor dishwashing and laundry facilities as well as toilets, coin-operated showers that are still free and hair dryers that cost 20 p to use. There is a separate disabled and parent and baby room.

STATIC CARAVANS AND CHALETS FOR HIRE

Auchnahillin Holiday Park's hire accommodation are modern and completely self-contained. They feature their own kitchen and shower room that has a shower, wash-basin and WC. Other features include electric lighting, a refrigerator, power points, a gas cooker and a fire.

Each accommodation is fully-equipped to a very high standard. They feature a remote control colour TV, a microwave, a kettle, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and washing-up equipment. The site provides all duvets, pillows and bed linen. They ask that guests bring their own towels.

The holiday homes are available for full week bookings. They may start and end on any day, subject to availability. There are also short breaks available.
