Watergate Bay Touring Park

Watergate Bay Touring Park is situated 4 miles north of Newquay on the B3276 coast road. A friendly welcome awaits you at the park. The park is located in an area that has been designated by the National Trust as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Just half a mile away from the park is Watergate Bay, which is a large beach which guarantees that it will never be overcrowded. At low tide the beach is 2½ miles long, making it possible to walk all the way to Newquay.

There are designated safe swimming areas in the sea, as well as plenty of rock pools for children to play in.

Watergate Bay Touring Park has an Extreme Sports Academy that features surfing, power kiting, buggying, kite surfing and more. They have regular championship competitions that you can participate in or just dream.

The park is divided into separate enclosures and is located in lovely countryside. Each of the pitches is individually marked out. This ensures that there is no overcrowding. Every pitch has an area next to it so you can keep your car parked next to your tent or caravan.

Unlike most parks in the area, Watergate Bay Touring Park is completely level throughout and has excellent drainage, which ensures there is no risk of flooding even in the heaviest of downpours.

Because the park is located within walking distance of one of the best beaches in Cornwall, you have the choice of going to a swimming pool or a beach. You can have a relaxing drink without needed to use your car.

The site also has a complimentary minibus service to the beach. It runs 6 times a day during the main holiday weeks except for Saturdays.
