Torvean Caravan Park

Situated at the rear of GNR Sutherland Caravan Sales, Torvean Caravan Park is a select 4 Star Park. They are set 1 mile west of Inverness on the A82 Fort William road, immediately right after crossing the bridge. They have 10 modern static holiday caravans for hire and 50 excellent pitches for tourers and motor homes. The site has no tent pitches.

Torvean Caravan Park offers high quality facilities for their guests. They have a reception office, tourist information, a telephone kiosk, site lighting, a laundrette and a children's play area. The site features tarmac roads throughout.

The park is set on the banks of the Caledonian Canal and it overlooks the Torvean Golf Course. They are across the road from Jacobite Cruises and they are within walking distance of the city centre which is convenient for buses, the sports centre and the swimming pool.

Nearby is the highland capital Inverness City which is a large shopping centre that has much to offer holidaymakers in the way of entertainment. Inverness City has both indoor and outdoor bowling centres, an aquadome and a floral hall.

Some nearby places of interest include Eden Court, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and Urquhart Castle. Torvean Caravan Park is only a half an hour from Aviemore and the Spey Valley. In 1½ hours you can reach Ullapool and Fort William and in 2 hours you can reach the Isle of Skye and John O'Groats.
