Rothiemurchus Camp & Caravan Park
Rothiemurchus Camp & Caravan Park is peacefulĀ and is set amongst the towering Caledonian pine trees. They offer sheltered camping in a unique wilderness setting.
You can enjoy a wild camping experience at Rothiemurchus Camp & Caravan Park but with the added bonus of modern facilities. They have camping areas in distinctly different locations. The first is a high level area that is set in the tall indigenous pines, the second is adjacent to the fast flowing Am Beanaidh burn that flows through the park and the third is situated on an island where the burn splits.
Rothiemurchus also offers 17 level pitches for touring caravans and motor homes. All of these pitches feature electric hook-ups and are set amidst a beautiful woodland area.
The site features an excellent heated amenity building that features toilets, showers, a dishwashing area and a separate laundrette.
There are many great cycling and walking trails in this beautiful area. The park is very near to the Cairngorms which guests can visit. Guests can also choose to simply relax and get away from it all while enjoying watching the amazing wildlife in this lovely setting.
Rothiemurchus Camp & Caravan Park offers a warm welcome to all of their guests. There are no dogs allowed in any of the camping areas on the park.
The site's 3 midge eaters will help you stay as bite free as possible during your visit.
The park is incredibly accessible by road, rail and air. They are set just a 30 minute walk from Aviermore or 5 minutes by car. They are just a 35 minute drive from Inverness that take you through beautiful Highland scenery. You can reach Rothiemurchus in just over an hour's flight from London.
