Situated within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Logganbeg Holiday Park is a small and friendly park that emphasises on having a relaxing short break or holiday. It is the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside or just to relax.
The park welcomes tents, touring caravans, camper vans and trailer tents. They offer level hard standing pitches. All are equipped with electric hook-ups. There are seasonal pitches available.
The site has a new modern block with toilet, shower and laundrette. The laundrette is fully-equipped for washing, drying, ironing and dish washing. All of the pathways and buildings are illuminated at night.
The site welcomes walkers, cyclists, motor cyclists and organised groups.
An easy 5 minute walk away you will find the banks of Loch Lomond. They afford a panoramic view of Ben Lomond and the islands. It is a designated nature reserve where you can experience the flora and fauna of the National Park.
You can climb Duncryne Hill which is known locally as the Dumpling. The walk will take approximately an hour but it is well worth the effort because at the top you will see a stunning 360 degree view of the area. There are many other walks and activities available in the surrounding area.
Laggenbeg Holiday Park is perfectly situated as a base for touring the surrounding area. Nearby there is a post office, shop and restaurant. Within a 1 mile drive on either side of the park there is the picturesque village of Drymen. It offers various tea and local shops as well as a wide variety of hotels and public houses. They you can enjoy a range of meals to cater to all tastes and budgets.
On the other side is the village of Balloch which is the gateway to Loch Lomond. They have a large supermarket and shops as well as an abundance of eating establishments. You can choose from Chip Shops through to restaurants and hotels. It is also the home of the famous Lomond Shores Shopping Complex and Sea Life Centre.
Within easy reach is Stirling which is a 40 minutes' drive, Glasgow which is a 1 hour drive and Edinburgh which is a 1 hour 30 minutes drive.

DIRECTIONS:
From the A82 Glasgow join the A811 at Balloch following the signs for Stirling, drive through Gartocharn village for ½ a mile , left at caravan sign.
From Stirling take the A811 south following signs for the Erskine Bridge. Turn right at caravan sign.
