Sunnymeade Caravan Park

Sunnymeade Caravan Park is situated above the picturesque seaside village of Portpatrick with panoramic views across the Irish Sea to the Irish coast and is the ideal location for exploring the Rhins of Galloway peninsula.

Touring Caravans, Tents and Motorhomes are welcome and the park is open from the beginning of May to the end of September.

Caravan Holiday Homes (sleep 2 to 4 people) are available to hire from Saturday to Saturday. These are new quality holiday homes with sea views, decking, double glazing/central heating and two bedrooms (double bedroom with own en-suite toilet]. They all have Freeview TV/DVD recorder, microwave and fridge. Electricity is metered but gas is included in price.

Sunnymeade is the longest established caravan park in Portpatrick. Customer care is paramount and we take pride in offering a quiet, peaceful and relaxing family atmosphere.

The Gulf Stream gives Portpatrick a warm, mild climate making Sunnymeade Caravan Park the perfect place for spring and autumn holidays.

We have recently extended the park. Our new development is now open and overlooks our wildlife loch. Fully serviced spacious pitches are now available for holiday caravans and lodges.

Portpatrick is only a 10 minute walk away and the scenic harbour and rocky coastline is perfect for walking and Portpatrick is the starting point on the Southern Upland Way , Scotland's 212 mile coast to coast footpath, traversing some of southern Scotland's most beautiful landscapes.

Portpatrick was once a busy and bustling port, the main port for visitors and goods from Northern Ireland; however, today it's a real holiday destination. Sea angling is also popular here and Portpatrick boasts its own popular golf course

Golfing breaks, walking and cycling holidays, sea fishing, visiting local gardens and estates such as Stair Estate are just a few of the many activities available.
