The site's regular visitors know how idyllic their landscape of rolling Scottish hills, beaches and sleepy fishing villages are. You can come to Sands of Luce Holiday Park and explore the wonderful scenery and lifestyle of Scotland's most Southerly coast.

When you enter the park you will immediately become aware of how the park got its name. The magnificent bay is the site's biggest asst and something the site enjoys bragging about. The park prides itself on providing the ultimate family retreat that caters to young and old.

Sands of Luce Holiday Park's efforts in keeping a first class park have earned them an AA 4 Star award as well as an award of Excellence from Visit Scotland, which means they can display the highly regarded Thistle emblem.

The park has its own pub, The Lighthouse Bar, where residents go to discuss the days catch or play a game of pool while having some of the local whiskeys. You can also choose to enjoy one of Josie's breakfasts or freshly baked cakes and sandwiches in the site's cafe and tea room. This is a play area and games rooms for younger guests. There is parking available alongside all units. You can launch boats from the beach and store them in the site's new secured boat yard at no extra charge.

Sands of Luce Holiday Park is situated within the beauty and splendour of the Galloway coast, making it an ideal base from which to explore Galloway and its peaceful surroundings. The area's rolling hills, steep sea cliffs, wide beaches and colourful country parks create a natural landscape that is ideal for a multitude of activities as well as being beautiful and relaxing.

TOURING AND CAMPING

The park has a number of touring sites available. The site recommends that you book in advance during peak season to secure your spot. The site's camping pitches are very popular and they book up fast.

There are toilet blocks with free hot water showers near the campsite. The facilities are cleaned daily and are locked throughout the day to ensure maximum cleanliness for all guests. Your fee includes a toilet block key.

The site's toilet blocks also contain disabled washrooms, laundrettes, areas for dish washing and chemical waste disposal units. Each of the touring sites are supplied with mains electricity.

HOLIDAY HOME RENTAL

The park has holiday homes for hire that are luxurious and afford comfort, space and privacy. They are the perfect solution for a relaxed family holiday. You can rent one of their 10 luxury caravans and they will give you the choice of 2 or 3 bedrooms units that can sleep up to 8 people. Each of the caravans is less than 2 season old and has plenty of space for guests to enjoy.

Each of the caravans is fully-equipped to a high standard. They include LCD High Definition digital TVs with DVD player, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the utensils. They are double glazed and have central heating for the cooler months. All of the rental caravans are sited together in a sheltered part of the site. They are only a minutes' walk from the golden sands and are close to all of the facilities.
