Silverbow Park is set in pretty countryside, with tranquil farm lanes adjoining the rear boundary. These lanes are ideal for walking and cycling. The park has wide access directly off the A3075 Newquay to Redruth Road. This makes the park a great base for touring all of Cornwall.

Just 2½ miles away from the site is the splendorous, 3-mile long beach at Perranporth, which will please lovers of sun, sea and sand.

The park caters to families and couples. They feel that the site is not suitable for some teenagers or anybody who likes a holiday camp atmosphere. The site does not have a noisy club house or bars, which they believe would attract a different type of customer.

Silverbow Park has been noted for its great facilities and spacious layout. They feature 2 hard standing, all-weather tennis courts.

They have set aside a 2-acre area of well-mown grass for games. They have set aside an additional 6 acres of preserved meadowland and hedgerows for recreational use.

The site features a games room with table tennis and a pool table. It is open from 9 am until 10 pm every day.

They feature a magnificently-tiled, kidney-shaped swimming pool and paddling pool that is set in a pretty, walled garden. Their pools are surrounded by flower beds and sunbathing areas. The site provides recliners and sun shades. This creates a great place to swim, or just sit and relax. It is a real sun trap. They heat both of the pools by a gas-fired boiler to ensure that temperatures in the water are in the mid-70s from the middle of May until the middle of September. Both of the pools are open daily and are kept immaculately clean at all times.

The owners know from their own experience as touring caravanners that their amenities are the best maintained and the cleanliest that guests will find anywhere. They have developed the park to the standards that they would want to find themselves in when on holiday. They add all the important extras that a small park provides.
