Bobby Shafto Caravan Park

Bobby Shafto Caravan Park is a family business with years of experience catering for guests of all ages who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. There are facilities for static and touring caravans and are located within just a few miles of many of the local and historic attractions of Durham and Northumberland.

The park's static and touring caravan area is 10 acres in size and accommodates privately owned static caravans. It also features electric-ups for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. There are also Camping Pods. It is close to Beamish.

The site has a Holiday Site License for static caravans for 11 months of the year. The site opens on the 1st of March and closes on the 31st of October every year.

You can enjoy Durham and the surrounding Northumberland countryside and coast line while staying at Bobby Shafto and experiencing the tranquil and stunning surroundings of the caravan park.

Facilities include a centrally heated amenity building that includes coin-operated showers, hair dryers and shaver points. They also feature a washing and vegetable preparation area, chemical disposal points and water points. They also have a laundrette that has a washing machine, tumble dryer and an iron.

Bobby Shafto Caravan Park has an on-site shop and reception area where you can purchase caravan accessories as well as caravan and camping gas. They also sell ice cream, sweets and groceries. The site doesn't stock everything but they always have something to sell you.
