Situated in a wonderful secluded setting on the outskirts of Bassenthwaite in the Northern Lake District of Cumbria, Skiddaw View is an award winning holiday park that offers fully-equipped self-catering static caravans and timber lodges for hire.

They also own a number of cottages and a large house for groups off of the park.

Each of Skiddaw View's static caravans and timber lodges have received the prestigious Rose Award from the English Tourist Board. This is proof of the high standards that the site maintains.

Each of the cottages and houses are rated a minimum of 3 Stars.

Skiddaw Views is a 20 acre park that is nestled into the hillside. From the site you can see panoramic views of Skiddaw and the Northern Fells. The site has easy access to the market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth. It is also near the Solway Coast which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The site's location is great for visiting the Northern Lake District which includes Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere and the quieter Western Lakes of Ennerdale, Loweswater and Crummock.

Skiddaw View is just a 30 minutes' drive from the Great Border City of Carlisle and Penrith. Within an hour from the site you can reach Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.
