Ullswater Holiday Park
Ullswater Holiday Park is a 12 acre park that is a great place for your next holiday. They are licensed for over 100 caravans. It amounts to about 50 static and 50 touring caravans on the site. They have some super pitches available that feature drainage, water and an electrical supply. They also can accommodate just over 100 tents. They offer eight self-catering cottages that are based in the converted farmhouse, barn and bungalow.
CAMPING AND TOURING
Ullswater Holiday Park welcomes touring caravans and tent campers. The park makes a great base for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria. You can also just take a relaxing break at the park or take a journey to or from Scotland.
The park's rural setting gives it plenty of space. There is room for parking alongside the pitches as well as woodland shelter and screening for pitches.

Ullswater Holiday Park have room for over 150 tents and tourers but they advise that you book ahead of time to secure your place. The park is often fully booked during peak holiday seasons.

Ullswater Holiday Park offer modern 6-berth static caravans that are spacious and make a comfortable family accommodation. They include all of the facilities and equipment that you would expect to find in a holiday home.

Each caravan has plenty of space around it to emphasize the spacious and open country feeling that the park creates. You can also keep your car alongside the caravans.
You can hire static caravans from Saturday to Saturday, Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday all season long.
They also have a selection of new and used caravans available for sale for those who like to make a permanent home at Ullswater.
Ullswater Holiday Park offer camping cabins for hire. They are a great alternative to camping in a tent. They can accommodate a family of 4 that consists of 2 adults and 2 children. They supply wooden benches for beds. You must bring your own sleeping bags and camping equipment. There is a barbeque area located outside of the cabin. They do not allow open fires and naked flames must be inside the cabin. There are no pets allowed in the camping cabins.
OUT AND ABOUT
The northern lake of Ullswater in Cumbria is regarded as one of the most beautiful and interesting. The lake extends in 3 reaches and covers a total of 9 miles. It goes from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding where the scenery changes from gentle river valley, woods and pastures in the north into the dramatic mountain scenery of Kirkstone Pass in the south.
Ullswater Holiday Park is in a great location for walkers, cyclists and tourists. Guests can explore the Lake District National Park and most of Cumbria.
They are on the fells and behind the site are the Helvellyn range, Raise and the Dodds. Across the lake are the High Street Ridge and Howtown. You can enjoy strenuous climbs and lakeside rambles in the fells. Just a short drive away are Wainwright's Northern and the Eastern Fells.
You can easily reach the Lake District centres of Ambleside, Windermere, Keswick and Caldbeck from the park. The winding roads will take you through remote villages as well as over amazing passes through the mountains.
There are some great attractions nearby including the gardens at Dalemain, The Rheged Centre's grass-roofed shopping and the National Trust walks at Aira Force waterfalls.
From the M6 Junction 40 (A66), turn west for Keswick then take A592 to Ullswater. Reach lakeside road after 5 miles, turn right. Two miles later, turn right by telephone box, signposted Watermillock Church and brown camping sign. Our site is half a mile up the road on the right.
