Scalby Close Park

Scalby Close Park is a family-run touring caravan park that is located in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. The owners have many years of experience in the holiday park industry.

The park provides high quality facilities for both seasonal and touring caravans. They also have 5 privately owned static holiday homes on the site. Scalby Close Park is within easy reach of Scarborough's North Bay and the surrounding areas.

Scalby Close Park is owned by Peter and Maureen who have set out to create an attractively landscape park where customers' needs are the first priority. They are happy to have achieved their goal.

They are proud of the strong reputation that their park has gained because of their impeccable service and their friendly attitude. They want their customers to be completely satisfied with their experience. The site's high standards ensure that many customers return time and time again.

They do not have a play area on-site but well behaved children are welcome. They do not have an extra charge to bring your dog along but you must exercise your pet off of the site. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per family.

Visitors will find a wealth of attractions in Scarborough to suit all tastes. There is more than buckets and spades, fish and chips and candyfloss to the town, though this is still a great aspect of it. Guests can enjoy grand esplanade walks with stunning views, award-winning gardens and class architectural landmarks at this 1st seaside resort. Along the Jurassic coast there are some of the best beaches where you can find fossils among the rock pools.

Sitting inside of a medieval harbour is Scarborough's modern marina. It is overlooked by a 10th century castle and a Roman signal station. There are many cultural attractions in the town such as the nationally acclaimed Stephen Joseph Theatre which offers touring productions that would be proud to sit in any London theatre. Visitors can also go to the Rotunda museum which was recently nominated for The Art Fund Prize in 2009 for its £4million re-fit. There are many artists and galleries in Scarborough.

Within easy travelling distance are many other great attractions such as Castle Howard, the set for Brideshead, Rievaulx Abbey, North York Moors Steam Railway and York.
