Situated in the heart of picturesque Ryedale, Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park is privately owned and operated by the Palmer family. The park is located on the edge of North Yorkshire village of Slingsby.

They offer caravans for hire, touring pitches and camping pitches. The award winning park is a great base for families and couples that want to explore the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire.

Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park is close the magnificent Castle Howard and is 15 miles from historic York. The site is 10 miles from the North York Moors National Park and Heartbeat country, making Robin Hood Caravan and Camping Park great for touring. Just a ten minutes' drive takes you to the main A64 with direct access to the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Filey.

TOURING CARAVANS

Each of the touring caravan and motor caravan pitches has individual electrical hook-up points, water points and a direct waste connection point. They offer both hard standing and grass pitches.

TENTS

At Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park there is a separate area that is set aside for tents. This area does not have regimental or marked out pitches which gives guests the freedom and varied choice of where they would like to pitch their tent. You can choose between, flat, gentle sloping, sheltered areas and more.

There are some electric hook-ups available for tents but they are limited in number. This is why Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park recommends booking, and during high season, concert weekends and bank holidays booking in essential.

They have a modern toilet block just a short walk away from the tent area. It has flush toilets, free hot showers, wash basins, shaver points and sockets for hair dryers. They also have a pot wash facility and a chemical disposal point.

HIRE A CARAVAN

There are a wide range of luxury caravans available for hire, all of which have obtained the highly coveted Rose Award for quality.

All caravans are fully equipped with television, microwave, cooker, fridge and a fully fitted bathroom featuring shower and toilet. Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are all provided.

Every caravan has its own parking bay for your private use, as well as a grassed area for relaxing, sunbathing and children to play.
