Lime Tree Park is located on the edge of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District. It is ideally placed for discovering the glories of the Derbyshire countryside.

The park is located next to a thickly wooded limestone gorge. The backdrop is a magnificent old railway viaduct. Lime Tree is in a Special Landscaped Area and enjoys far-reaching views over nearby Buxton and the surrounding hills.

Lime Tree Park has done some extensive upgrading in recent years and is now classified as Excellent by the English Tourist Board. It has also been awarded by a 4 Pennant Deluxe Park Grading by the AA.

The site has also been included in the Alan Rogers Good Camps Guide which shows that the park is committed to the highest standards. They have hard standings available and all of their spacious touring caravan pitches have electric hook-ups.

The touring caravan area and the terraced camping area both have superb views of the hills from each pitch. The site's shower blocks are fitted out to the highest standards and include spacious free hot showers, top quality facilities and heating in the cooler months. They also feature disabled facilities, a family room and a baby room.

The park has a very modern fleet of luxury 2 and 3 bedroom holiday homes for hire that can accommodate up to 6 people. Every caravan is fully-equipped and includes colour TV, fridge, microwave and hair dryer. Beds are made up ready upon your arrival with bed linen provided.

There are also 2 holiday apartments for hire. Each of them affords superb views. The Corbar on 2 stories accommodates up to 6 people and the 1 level Ashwood can accommodate up to 4 people. Each apartment is spacious and very comfortably furnished. They are fully-equipped to the same high standards as the caravans.

There is an exciting adventure playground for children. They have a TV lounge with a pool table to keep everyone occupied no matter what the weather. Their shop has all of the essentials as well as a wide range of maps and guides and camping spares. There is also a laundrette and a payphone. There is a dog walk area adjacent to the park. You must keep your dog on a lead when it is at the park.
