Camping & Caravanning

One of the loveliest caravan and camping parks in South Devon, Lemonford is within easy reach of all the major tourist attractions in the area. There are more than 12 attractions within a 10 mile radius of the park.

Near the park is Dartmoor National Park. Guests can explore the quaint village, go rambling, horse riding or have a fun picnic beside the streams and rivers. A short drive will take guests to the beaches of Teignmouth, Dawlish, Torbay, Dartmoor and Salcombe. Within easy reach are Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth, which feature superb shopping, theatres, museums and leisure centres.

TOURING CARAVANS AND CAMPING

They have created 3 separate areas for touring and camping in the park. The 7 acre park features numbered grass and hard standing pitches that are sided against hedges and trees. Each pitch is generously spaced and a majority of them feature electric hook-ups.

Their toilet and shower blocks are modern and have won awards. They offer guests a generous number of toilets and showers, each with their own spacious changing areas. They feature male and female washing cubicles and bathrooms, hair dryers, shaving and power points. They have a separate, covered washing up area. They have a laundry room that features commercial machines, as well as ironing and hand washing facilities. The site allows dogs, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and be exercised off of the park.

CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES FOR HIRE

They offer luxury 6 berth holiday homes for hire. They are located in a sheltered and sunny area of the park that features views of Dartmoor and the surrounding hills. Each holiday home is fully serviced and includes shower, WC and a basin in the bathroom. The kitchens include a gas cooker, refrigerator and microwave oven. Each lounge features a colour television and a cosy gas fire. Every holiday home can accommodate up to 6 people, and they comply with the latest safety standards. The site provides duvets, pillows and a full set of bedding in all of the bedrooms. Guests must bring their own towels and tea towels.
