A Class B Site, Tackeroo Caravan Touring Site is a perfect place to come and relax with only deer as your company.

Tackeroo Caravan Touring Site welcomes tourers to their site. They also allow tents to their site but they must have a separate toilet tent or be accompanying a caravan with toilet facilities.

It costs £10 per pitch, per night to stay for the night. Your pitch includes 1 vehicle, 1 camping facility, 1 awning and 1 small tent. There is a ranger that comes around daily for payment. He usually comes around at breakfast or dinner time to collect. You cannot pre-book pitches.

All of the pitches are freely drained hard standing pitches. The only facilities on the site are running water, information board and sanilav disposal points.

Within a short distance of the site you will find places to eat, hire cycles, a woodland play area, waymarked trails, fishing pools and much more.

They do not have a booking system for the site for private users. You can contact their main office to arrange rally dates.

There is a blue graded leisure trail that runs through Tackeroo. It is suitable for both bikes and walkers. Heading south you will reach the Fairoak Valley which is a lovely walk. Going even further you will reach the community arts trail.

The site has a red graded cross country mountain bike trail running through it which is suitable for experienced riders.
