Situated on the scenic North Norfolk coast between Sheringham and Cromer, Laburnum lies in the village of West Runton.

Laburnum is set on a cliff top just above the beach. They boast panoramic views of the sea with excellent sunrises and sunsets.

The village of West Runton has a small number of shops including a post office, general stores, newsagent, greengrocers and an independent filling station.

The town also features many places to eat including a fine teashop, The Pepperpot which features intimate surrounding and The Links Hotel which has a grand restaurant. You can also enjoy an excellent Sunday Carvey at the welcoming Dormy House Hotel.

Guests can also enjoy a quiet drink in the gardens of the Village Inn or a bacon butty at the Seaview beach café.

Laburnum is a family-run park with a friendly atmosphere. They have 6 caravans for hire and 6 touring pitches that all have hook-ups. They do not allow pets in hire caravans.

They have about 170 static caravans on their site, most of which are privately owned. They do offer 6 x 6 berth caravans for hire.

All of their caravans are no more than 2 years old and contain a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and WC, a kitchen with a cooker, microwave and a refrigerator and a lounge with a double sofa-bed.

Each caravan for hire also includes a colour portable television.

Laburnum also caters for touring caravans and motor homes. They have 6 pitches which all have electric hook-ups. The site has private designated shower and toilet facilities as well as a deep sink with plenty of hot runner water for washing-up in their laundry room. In the laundry room there is an automatic washer and a dryer as well as hand washing and ironing facilities.

The do allow pet but they do not allow them in hire caravans. They do ask that dogs be kept on a lead while on the park and that their owners clean up after them.

Laburnum has a small shop on-site that stocks a selection of groceries, milk, sweets, toys and ice cream. They can also order morning papers for their guests.

The site has good facilities for children including a secure playground with swings, slides and more. They also have a large recreation field, a football pitch and a hard tennis court. They have seats for parents, a picnic bench and a barbeque area.

All of these facilities are on the site but they are not too close to the caravans. Those that are visiting to enjoy peace and quiet can sit back and relax without having to dodge footballs or Frisbees.

The site's best asset is the magnificent panoramic views of the sea and the excellent sunrises and sunsets.
