Cable Gap Holiday Park

Owned by Allan and Ruth Epton since October 2000, Cable Gap Holiday Park has a hire fleet of 23 caravans plus a 2 bedroom chalet that has disabled facilities. They also have 43 privately owned caravans on-site for holiday use only on an 11 month basis.

Cable Gap Holiday Park's hire fleet caravans have achieved Rose Award status for many years. The quality grading of the park by the Tourist Board inspector is the highest achievable, an excellent 5 Stars. The park has also won a David Bellamy Silver Award in Conservation.

They take pride on offering guests a choice of 2 and 3 bedroom caravans. All of their caravans are equipped to very high standards. Most of them are double glazed and centrally heated. The site allows well behaved dogs in a selected number of caravans. They do not allow smoking in any of their accommodations.

For a small charge guests can make use of the wireless internet access that is available around the whole park.

Cable Gap Holiday Park makes an excellent base for sampling the many delights of the Norfolk country and it is only a short drive from the lovely Cathedral City of Norwich, the Queen's Norfolk residence at Sandringham and many other great attractions in the area such as The Poppy Line Railway, Sea Life Centres and Banham Zoo.

Nearby there are many outdoor activities to enjoy such as cruising on the Norfolk Broads, horse riding, golf, fishing or walking on the Paston Way. Only a few minutes' drive from the site is Bacton Woods which is great for picnics, walking and cycling.

The nearest village is just a few minutes' walk from the park and has local shops, public houses, an amusement arcade and a fish and chip shop. There is a local bus service during the summer that can take you to Great Yarmouth or Cromer where there is much to see and do. You can reach Norwich by a train from North Walsham if you want to enjoy a carefree day without your car.
