Set in attractive surroundings and enclosed by trees and meadows, Willowmere Caravan Park is a small, quiet and peaceful site in which to enjoy a holiday. They are set just outside of Sudbury on the Essex and Suffolk border which makes it a convenient base for touring the Suffolk and Essex countryside.

Willowmere Caravan Park welcomes tents, caravans and motor homes. They have electric hook-ups for 24 out of their 32 pitches. They have a well-maintained toilet block and showers that earn them many compliments from their visitors.

From the park it is only 5 miles to Long Melford and its great halls, Melford and Kentwell and its many antique shops. You can also reach the Cathedral market town of Bury St. Edmunds in just 18 miles.

Just 14 miles away from Sudbury is Colchester which is one of the earliest recorded towns in England which has an excellent castle to visit.

The area surrounding Sudbury features the villages of Lavenham, Dedham and Flatford which are all well worth a visit while touring the countryside.

The town of Sudbury itself has markets on Thursdays and Saturdays. It is also the home and birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough and the Gainsborough Museum. There is a railway station in Sudbury if you want to go further away for a visit. It takes about 70 minutes to reach London by the railway. The town also has its own leisure pool and The Kingfisher Theatre, The Quay and many excellent pubs and restaurants.
