Bodnant Caravan Park

Bodnant Caravan Park is situated on the eastern border of Snowdonia National Park, and has won the 'Wales in Bloom' contest for caravan and touring parks for 26 consecutive years. The site is open from the beginning of March until the end of October, and is family friendly with pets allowed.

Bodnant accepts touring caravans, motor homes, and tents into the site, and there are also two holiday caravans available for hire, should you wish to do so.

Situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Conwy Valley, Bodnant Caravan Park has a great reputation throughout Wales for attracting repeat business, and as such sees many of the same faces visiting the park year after year, such is the quality of service and the whole holiday experience.

The site is well sheltered by dense trees, which serve to create a great view as well as a natural starting point for exploring the natural beauty of the whole area.

There is a wide variety of amenities on site, many of which are especially loved by children who visit Bodnant Caravan Park. A small farm is stocked with sheep, hens, and geese, among other animals, that kids can all get up close and personal to.

Bodnant Caravan Park is also well known for attracting wide varieties of bird species, and woodpeckers, herons, buzzards, and sparrow hawks can all be regularly found in the park.

Anyone looking for a challenge during their holiday has it on their very doorstep, and while the whole of Snowdonia offers tough terrain, the climb of Mount Snowdon itself is definitely the one to get your adrenaline flowing. It is a tough day out, but a rewarding one, too.

Away from the immediate vicinity of Bodnant Caravan Park, there are a number of culture and heritage centres situated nearby, including castles and botanical gardens, while the market town of Llanwrst offers a friendly change of pace from the caravan park itself.

Further afield, but still within easy reach there are many more attractions to be discovered including:

• Conwy Castle

• Caernarfon Castle

• Llechwedd Slate Caverns - Blaenau Ffestiniog

• Slate Museum - Llanberis

• Copper Mines - Llandudno & Beddgelert

• Welsh Mountain Zoo - Colwyn Bay

• Steam Railways - Ffestiniog Railway, Snowdon - Mountain Railway and many others

• Pony trekking

• Golf courses - Betws-y-Coed, Llandudno & Conwy

• Beaches and Mountains.
