Mynydd Mawr Camping Site

Mynydd Mawr Camping Site is family run and is situated near the village of Aberdaron right at the far end of the Llyn Peninsula, North West Wales.

The campsite is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoys stunning susnsets and panoramic views of the coastline around Cardigan Bay and overlooking Bardsey Island.

Mynydd Mawr Camping Site welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents. and electric hook-up pitches are available.

There are good on-site facilities including completely refurbished toilet/shower block for 2015 which comprises of Gents, Ladies Disabled/Family Room with washing up area and freezer for your ice packs.

Campfires are allowed but must be raised off the ground in a container. Dogs are most welcome but must be kept on a lead.

There is also a onsite cafe which serves breakfast, light snacks, afternoon teas with a selection of homemade cakes, ice cream and refreshments.

STATIC CARAVAN FOR HIRE

The caravan has three bedrooms - 1 double, and two twin bedded, beds are made up as requested for your arrival. The static is spacious and clean and fully equipped with fridge, T.V./ D.V.D, cooker, microwave. There is a Shower and separate W.C. . The static caravan is fenced around and is in a private peaceful corner on the farm with benches and a picnic table.

OUT AND ABOUT

The Llyn Peninsula coastal path and the historic Pilgrims Route passes through the adjoining headland, ideal for walks and excellent for fishing.

Aberdaron village is approx 1.5 miles away, where you will find shops, pubs, cafes and bakery and a wonderful sandy beach.

Whistling Sands is another popular beach. There are several coves to enjoy. Hells Mouth Bay is 4 miles away and is popular with surfers. The coastal path proves very popular with the walkers.

The market town of Pwllheli is 18 miles away (market held on Wednesday). Abersoch popular for its watersports and nightlife is 12 miles away.
