Lobb Fields is a caravan and camping site that takes you far away from the pressures of modern life. You can rest your caravan or pitch your tent in a grassy field with the scent of wild flowers and the buzzing of bees surrounding you. Those that enjoy the simple pleasure of resting awhile in the lovely countryside will find this site ideal for their holiday. They feature no noisy on-site bars or entertainment.
The park is large and grassy. It is set just over a mile from Braunton village and is under 2 miles from Saunton beach. This beach features a 3 mile stretch of golden sand that does not suffer for overcrowding. Lobb Fields is south facing and features panoramic views of Braunton Burrows to the Taw estuary and across the Torridge towards Bideford and Appledore.
Just 2 miles west of Braunton are the Braunton Burrows which is the largest area of sand dunes in England. It is now Britain's first world class biosphere reserve. It is a perfect for loves of wildlife. They also feature a lot of very rare flora and fauna. Just a mile away from the site is the championship 18 hole golf course at Saunton. Visitors can also enjoy other great activities in the area including windsurfing, horse riding, rock climbing, water skiing, surfing, kite surfing and fishing. You can also enjoy many superb walks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many beauty spots to explore.
