Roebeck Country Park

Roebeck Country Park is an independent, family owned and operated park in a beautiful setting overlooking the Ashey Valley. It is set within 14 acres of pasture, woodland and with fresh water lakes.

Although it is secluded and tranquil it is within 5 minutes of the famous Appley beach at Ryde and ideally situated for both the ferry and as a springboard from which to tour the Island or as a base to simply relax, put your feet up and enjoy the peace and quiet. Be warned however that you may well, from time to time, hear the hoot of a distant steam train chugging along!

The touring and camping fields at Roebeck Country Park are set in well drained parkland, with views over Ashey Valley and the Isle of Wight.

There are a selection of pitches for mobile caravans and touring homes and a large selection of pitches available for any sized tent.

The motorhome pitches at Roebeck Country Park all have electric hook-up for electricity and water, and are easily accessed via a tarmac drive.

Half of the camping pitches have hook-ups for electricity, should you chose to have this. The camping field is well-drained, sheltered and approximately four acres in size.

Bottled gas is available from a local farm supply shop (200 yards away).

A small kitchen is provided with a fridge, kettle and microwave with ample sockets.

Pitches at Roebeck Country Park are allocated on arrival, unless otherwise requested. If you are part of a group and wish to be allocated next to each other please enquire at the time of booking when this can be accommodated.

TIPI GLAMPING PITCHES

The Tipi's are 18ft in diameter and sleep 4 people and are based around the lake. They come with a groundsheet, coir matting, basic furnishings, and one double and three single foam mattresses. There is also a small low table and LED lighting.

There is a BBQ area, and toilet and shower facilities close by.

Roebeck Country Park's facilities include a modern shower block which is fitted out to a high standard and provides showers and toilet facilities with hot running water.

Laundry washing and drying is available via a number of token-operated machines. Baby changing facilities and disabled access are also provided.

The fishing lake is set slightly apart from the main touring and camping field but situated close to the tipis. The lake is a well stocked coarse fishing lake with Carp, Mirror Carp etc.
