The Farm Burscough

The Farm Burscough offers a campsite, farm shop, tea room / restaurant and 4-star rated bed & breakfast in Lancashire.

We have renovated an 18th Century brick-barn to the highest standards and our warm welcome and homemade produce is award winning. We also have free wi-fi for customers throughout our Fully Licensed tea room and B&B.

We have created the ideal place to get a true taste of the country. Just five miles from England's Classic Resort of Southport and the historic market town of Ormskirk. And 40 minutes drive from the centre of the 2008 Capital of Culture - Liverpool.

Set in a one-acre grass field with fantastic views our five-van certificated Lancashire campsite is the ideal place to get away from it all.

We have a hard-standing area for caravans, and tents are also welcome to pitch on the grass.

The Farm Burscough has electric hook ups, toilets and a shower. A dishwashing sink is also available for use.

Pets are welcome, as long as they are kept on a lead, and you are also able to join the Camping and Caravanning Club from our site.

Don't forget you can enjoy all of The Farm Burscough's other on-site facilities and the local visitor attractions. For evening entertainment, there is a good country pub within walking distance of the farm.

We have added a few new attractions at The Farm Burscough to make your visit a little more exciting and interesting.

From our rare breed pigs to our Peruvian Alpacas, visitors can have a stroll alongside the fields to see the happy free-range lifestyle we give our animals.

We have also added a fantastic new play area in the last few months, featuring a twisty slide, swings and small climbing frame, which has proved very popular with the little ones visiting the tea room garden.

Stroll alongside our fields on flat accessible ground and see what you can discover in the heart of West Lancashire's countryside.

Our fields border onto the famous Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust site at Martin Mere making The Farm Burscough an ideal location for birdwatching.

The circular route takes you past the nature reserve and down to our delightful fishing lakes. Then follow the trail back to the farm where you can see our free range hens enjoying the fresh air. Why not pay a visit to the farm shop to try some of their delicious free-range eggs.
