Eweleaze Farm

Eweleaze Farm is a small organic farm situated in a secluded valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the south Dorset coast. There is ½ mile of private beach and cliffs, which now forms part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Tent camping is available just for the month of August and the campsite is located 1km off the road down a farm track, making it quiet and secluded, and safe for children. There are extensive sea views from most parts of Eweleaze Farm, and guests have the use of the private beach.

Eweleaze Farm covers several fields so it doesn't feel crowded, even on busy weekends, and it is usually possible to choose your own pitch. Friends and families can camp in groups as they please, and parking by your tent is allowed on most of the fields. There is loads of room for kids to run around, fly kites, play ball games and the like.

Campfires are allowed, adding to the atmosphere. Firewood is available bagged in the shop, as well as from a free wood pile near the farmyard.

Each camping field at Eweleaze Farm has its own Toilets and there are free hot showers at four locations around the campsite. In addition there are outside solar wash-off showers by the beach. There are also washing up sinks available around the site.

GLAMPING - BELL TENTS

There are a range of beautiful bell tents for this year's summer season. These tents will be available throughout the whole of the Eweleaze camping period, and will be located in prime positions on the site.

THE FARM SHOP

The farmshop sells organic produce including beef and lamb from the farm, pork, eggs, milk, cheese, bread, vegetables, beers, ciders and wines. Also firewood, gas, bbqs, charcoal and other essentials.

There is also an on-site bakery, producing a range of organic breads, pastries and cakes including croissants: plain, chocolate and almond, danish pastries, bar cakes, savouries, flap jacks, chocolate brownies, bread pudding etc

OUT AND ABOUT

The South West Coast path runs along the edge of the fields above the beach, with walks to Osmington Mills, Ringstead, Durdle Door and Lulworth to the east and Weymouth and the Isle of Portland to the west.

Weymouth is 7km by car (walking 4.5km), and has a sandy beach, a harbour and very good nightlife. Dorchester with its museums, market and other attractions is about 10km. There are loads of attractions in the surrounding area, although many people find they never get around to leaving the site!
