Maes Carafanau Cefn Crib Caravan Park

Maes Carafanau Cefn Crib Caravan Park is set on a working farm in Snowdonia National Park. It is located four miles from the historic and picturesque market town of Machynlleth, and only a few miles from the golden sands of Aberdyfi.

The park is surrounded by beautiful farmland, mountains, valleys and woodlands. It is well mantained and offers peace and tranquillity. Families and anyone looking for a quiet carefree holiday are very welcome.

You can bring your tent, your caravan or spend your holiday in one of the luxurious bell tents that are for hire.

CAMPING

The camping field is in an elevated position, that enjoys the sun most of the day. The shower rooms (with free hot water), toilet block and washing up area (with washing machine and freezer for your ice packs), are located a short walk from the camping area. There is a small park and plenty of open spaces for the children to play. Electric hook-ups are available on the camping field.

TOURING CARAVANS / MOTORHOMES

The park can accommodate 18 touring caravans or motorhomes. Each has its own electrical hook-up and hard standing, and there is a chemical waste point. There is also a toilet block, free showers and washing up area.

GLAMPING

The two lovely bell tents and compost toilet are in their own secluded field this year. Inside there is a double bed and a double futon, with an abundance of throws, blankets and cushions, and a range of lighting. Full bedding is provided for the double bed. All you need is pop in sleeping bags for the kids. An extra air bed or travel cot is available on request.

There is also a wood burning stove for those cold evenings and a basket of logs will be provided free of charge for every night of your stay. All the basic cooking equipment is provided, with a double hob and grill situated in the small adjacent cooking hut. There is also a picnic table for outside dining.
