Aberfeldy Caravan Park
Aberfeldy Caravan Park is ideally set within an impressive rural setting which is part of the old Scottish district of Breadalbane. It is well known for its warm and friendly hospitality.
The park is located on the outskirts of Aberfeldy but within walking distance of the town. Well run by Perth & Kinross Council and in a lovely location on banks of the River Tay.
Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Tents are welcome at Aberfeldy Caravan Park and there are a mixture of pitches including electric hook-ups and disabled facilities. Discount card for local leisure facilities if staying two or more nights. Booking advised during peak seasons.
The town of Aberfeldy is home to Dewar's World of Whisky which is open throughout the year, why not pop in and take a tour and a dram?
The Birks of Aberfeldy is a circular walk through mature mixed woodland on the western outskirts of Aberfeldy. The Birks overlook the Falls of Moness and lines the slopes of the Moness gorge.
Visitors can follow the well defined path which is overhung by mature trees from where they can admire the birch, oak, ash and elm trees. The path also offers excellent views to the roaring white water of the falls and, during winter, across to Strathtay.
Much of the gorge is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its botanical features and it is likely that there has been continual woodland cover at the site for up to 8,000 years. The gorge is a place of immense natural power and beauty in any season but perhaps most photogenic in the cooler days of late autumn.
