The Golden Coast Holiday Park has both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. There is an elegant pool inside the manor house at Cleavewood and a secluded lodge-side pool located within The Orchard.

Nearby is Woolacombe Bay with its lovely Blue Flag beach where you can play in the surf and sand. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and the Premier Seaside Beach awards year after year for its cleanliness and its water quality.

The Environment Agency recommends Woolacombe beach as, "a broad golden sandy beach backed by sand dunesâ?¦ a safe bathing beach with good surfing conditions, an ideal family beach in every way". It is truly an ideal beach.

They only give the Blue Flag award to beaches with an extremely high quality of bathing water, good management, cleanliness and safety. They do not allow speedboats or jet skis at Woolacombe Bay but they do have great facilities for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and sea canoeing. Guests can try out the exciting new sport of kite surfing at the beach as well.
