Dudley Farm Touring Park is ideally located for those who want a stopover when travelling to and from the Continent via ferries or the Euro-Tunnel.
The site welcomes touring caravans and motorhomes and the grass pitches are level and do not hold water in bad weather. There are waste disposal facilities, showers and toilets and fresh drinking water.
Dudley Farm Touring Park (The Paddock) is 0.75 of an acre, set in 15 acre's of mown meadow land, interspersed with trees and hedges. The site is in an AONB, (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), on the North Kent Downs.
The site sits adjacent to the M2 Motorway, separated by a 15 metre high, earth, sound deflecting, bund wall, this has been planted with several thousand trees, and when constructed, was grassed the entire length and breadth.
We have purposely let this grow wild, it has become a place where a wide and diverse range of plants, natural grasses and many varieties of weeds grow, these in turn, attract bees, butterflies and insects of all kinds. This purposely un-kept area of Dudley Farm also attracts many wild birds and animals.
A five minute walk from the site gate, and you can be treading the by-ways of the National walking/cycling trails, which run through this particular part of Kent.
The Kent Coast Towns have much to offer for the tourist. Head on down the M2 Motorway and you will be able to explore places such as, Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Reculver, Westgate, Margate, North Foreland, and Broadstairs.
