Thornton's Holt Camping Park

Thornton's Holt Camping Park is a quiet family 14 acre site in a rural setting in the hamlet of Stragglethorpe, near Radcliffe-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire.

The park has a relaxing and friendly atmosphere and welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes to its spacious grass and hardstanding level pitches. It has been carefully landscaped with mature trees, fruit orchards and gardens. There are free range hens wandering throughout the park.

Facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, a childrens play area, washing up areas, a laundry, ice blocks freezer, and a small shop on site. Free WiFi is available in the reception area.

Thornton's Holt Camping Park is a fantastic place to experience the great outdoors. Our park is beautifully landscaped and creates stimulating environment for children and adults to explore with open areas perfect for play.

The local villages of Cotgrave and Radcliffe on Trent are well equipped with supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and takeaways and just across the road is The Shepherds Pub and Carvery. There is also a bus stop with a regular service to Nottingham.

There is a footpath and cycle track leading to Nottingham, the local villages, the National Watersports Centre, and the Cotgrave Country Park and Grantham Canal.

SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

The Annex is a comfortable self-contained holiday property on the park. It is available for long weekends, mid week breaks and longer stays throughout the year.

Sleeping four people with one double and one twin bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need including a microwave, fridge and an electric hob / oven. It is open plan to the lounge featuring french doors opening onto a decked seating area and a quiet private garden.
