Maes-y-Bryn Campsite is set on a small farm in the hills above the market town of Llanrwst at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
The campsite welcomes tents, touring caravans and motor homes and for those who prefer glamping there is a Yurt for hire. It has been voted one of the 10 best campsites in North Wales.
The Yurt sleeps two adults and two children and is let fully furnished with a camping gas stove and all crockery and cutlery. A cool box with ice packs is also supplied.
There is a log burner in the Yurt and a basket of wood/kindling is included in the price. Extra logs are available to purchase at reception.
Facilities on the site include a toilet block with free hot showers and washbasins. Also a washing up room with washing machine, tumble drier and basins with hot and cold water. Chemical toilet disposal facilities are provided. Some electric hook-ups and wi-fi are available.
There is a recycling collection area. Basic items are available for sale such as fresh eggs from the farm. The market town of Llanrwst is just 3 miles away where you will be able to shop for food and other goods.
Maes-y-Bryn is a small farm with all kinds of animals and pets including sheep, chickens, ducks and geese. The farm is superbly situated for those wanting a quiet, get-away-from-it-all holiday in a place surrounded by stunning scenery.
If you want something a bit more lively the bustling holiday resorts of the North Wales coast, Rhyl, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay are only 25 minutes drive away.
Within a 25 mile radius there is so much to do and see including historic houses, castles, museums, cromlechs, the Ffestiniog Railway and the slate caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog as well as the beautiful forests, river scenery and numerous tourist attractions of Betws y Coed.
The nearest town to Maes-y-Bryn is Llanrwst, a bustling country market town where Welsh is still the language of the local population.
To the east stretch the Denbigh Moors and to the west lies the Snowdonia National Park - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a land of remote mountain peaks and fertile river valleys, tranquil lakes and dense forests.
Maes-y-Bryn is an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful corner of North-West Wales.
