Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park

Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park covers some 6 acres, is flat and grassy and bordered by two streams, the Finella and the Lauriston. Adjoining the Park is a further 6 acres of croft and woodland including a large pond, home to all sorts of insects, aquatic animals and birds.

The park has its own sandy beach and safe, swimming and canoeing area. Rock pools, adjacent to the park, awaiting exploration, by young and old alike. The whole area surrounding the caravan park abounds with wildlife; deer, fox, rabbit, hare and weasel.

For the bird watcher, the surrounding area is regularly visited by heron, moorhen, owl, buzzard, kestrel, peregrine, merlin and kingfisher, and a variety of seabirds including the Little Tern. A white tailed eagle has recently been reported in the area. Not yet spotted by myself!

Dolphins are frequently spotted on the outer edges of the bay.

The Coastal Footpath runs directly in front of the Park, allowing access to the nearby fishing village of Johnshaven and beyond.

Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park welcomes Touring Caravans, Motorhomes, Trailer Tents and Tents and there are also static caravans for hire and sale. There is free Wi-fi available.

There is a shop on site and a function room where you can relax and watch television, or play pool. There is a kitchen and dining facility available for tent campers, for a small additional fee. There is a recently built, disabled-friendly toilet block with individual toilets and shower cubicles.

Facilities also include a Laundry room equipped with iron, coin operated commercial washing machine, tumble dryer and hair dryer. A clothes sink and stainless steel sink for dishes are also provided.

DIRECTIONS

Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park is situated just off the A92 Montrose to Stonehaven Road. From the A92 at the junction with the B9120, head eastwards towards the sea, between the fields, passed the farm entrance, through the trees, turn left at the bottom of the hill, and the entrance to the caravan park is on the right.
