Tremorvu Campsite

Tremorvu Campsite is quiet, family run and situated in the hamlet of Tresowes Hill, off the A394 between Praa Sands and Porthleven just outside the village of Ashton. We provide camping & touring holidays for families and couples. We are open from 1st March to 31st October.

The campsite sits in eight acres of beautiful countryside bordered by Cornish hedges attracting an abundance of wildlife including foxes, badgers, rabbits, buzzards, owls and swallows.

From Tremorvu Campsite there are distant views of the Atlantic Ocean to the South and Penwith Peninsula to the West showcasing spectacular sunsets. North of Tremorvu Campsite is Tregonning Hill, a rewarding climb, with panoramic views of the surrounding areas and further afield to Mounts Bay, Falmouth, St Agnes Beacon & St Ives.

There are numerous walks to be had nearby, walk over Tregonning Hill to neighbouring Godolphin Hill and explore the historic Godolphin House and Estate, recently feature on Caroline Quentin's Cornwall Programme. The bluebell woods in the grounds of Godolphin during May are spectacular.

The stunning beach at Praa Sands is about 1.5 miles away, ideal for swimming and renowned for surfing. For those wishing to explore on foot, the South West Coast Path is only a short distance away.

There is a pub within walking distance. The Lion & Lamb serves a good selection of local beers, wines & pub grub.

Tremorvu Campsite is a quiet site catering for families and couples and we do not allow large groups ie: Hen & Stag parties, so please consider this before booking.

There are 40 spacious pitches, 18 of which have Electric Hook Up. The pitches are divided up into four separate fields, bordered by Cornish hedges full of wildflowers that attract local wildlife and birds.

Tremorvu Campsite's shower/toilet block is kept very clean, and all showers are hot and FREE. Hair dryers are provided in the ladies for a small charge. There is a disabled/family room available on request.

There is a washing up room with access to a freezer for ice blocks and we have a small laundry room with 2 washing machines for guests to use, and where wet suits can be hung to dry.

During peak season Tremorvu Campsite's site shop is open, selling local eggs, milk, fresh baked bread, newspapers on request, homemade cakes and a range of essentials.

Tremorvu Campsite also have a range of PRE-ERECTED TENTS available for hire, including Euro tents and Bell tents for Glamping each can be rented with or without equipment.

The newly converted Barn is available for rent on a self catering basis.
